WWII Veterans, a question for you please

This is more about the operators than the tractors. I know many of you, like my father, and myself, have served in the Military. I just found out that Infantrymen who earned their CIB (Combat Infantryman's Badge) in WWII were authorized in 1947 to receive the Bronze Star Medal also. This is the 4th Highest Medal awarded, and is for galantry in combat. This was EARNED, not a give-me kind thing. Many of us didn't realize this was authorized.
