My dad used to tell a story of when he snuck his father's pistol out of the house and took it to school with him. The teacher at the one room school made him take it back home.

Dad died 18 years ago, he was only 60 years old. A day doesn't go by that I don't wish I could have one more conversation with him.

My father-in-law died five years ago, and I miss him almost as much as my own dad.
