While it is true that few humans are killed by it in this country it will kill you if you eat it.

Since we are not in the habit of getting our food from the woods we do not eat it. It is a part of the Parsley, Caraway, and Carrot family and the roots and leaves look like these other plants.

Most of the problem comes with live stock eating it. 1 to 2 pounds of the leaves will kill a cow.
