You can just about be guaranteed that you will have a wetland that you can't touch when you go out of the program. Wetlands delineation comes under state control, and you're probably exempt right now as being a "farmed wetland", so you can continue farming it. But once it is not farmed for 5 years (at least that's the rule in Washington), you lose the exemption, and it just becomes a plain old wetland, and you will be forbidden from draining it. Kind of a clever little scheme on the part of the guvment. Sometimes I'd rather they just hold me up with a gun- its much more straightforward.
