what is carb off of ? What is it made of, Cast , pot metal , aluminum ? The carb cleaner you buy these days is junk . EPA regs have watered it down to near usless. I use spray cans,or solvent, some cases if lot of lime and rust I'll use toilet bowl cleaner . Works great , but will discolor the metal. Don't breath the fumes ,real nasty . Some times I'll use muretic acid but again watch fumes and don't soak aluminum in it very long , eats it up ..I have owned carb rebuilding shop for over 25 yrs now ,,, I sure miss the good cleaners that used to be available .
