Hey ya Allan, I was out and about today, and thought about ya out there. Get this. Was headed south on I55 near joliet, minding my own business when I looked up, and there they were. Just comin into sight in the oncoming lane, I saw a new red Chevy pickup, but trailing behind it was orange, and that's what I focused on as it neared. Looked like a freshly restored D15, maybe D17, was a blur. But sitting right on it's tail on the same trailer was bigger, and red. Might've been a 966, maybe a 1066. Was much bigger than the orange, and all flew by me, all fresh. I don't even think that Chevy was a dually, it happened so fast. He missed the last even remotely close to being a rural cutoff before heading 40 or so miles into Chicago with crazy drivers. I was yellin, "Allan, what are you doing with orange in front of that red? Why are you pullin all that nice iron towards Chicago with that little pickup on that little trailer? Turn off Allan before it's too late, or you're in trouble". Then I remembered, your red pickup was a little older, and I've never heard you mention your orange. Hope that guy made it. Mark

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
