John Deer 325 is stalling when it gets hot

It starts fine when cool then after about 10 minutes it sounds like it going to run out of gas and then stalls. If I put the choke on when it tries to stall it works for a little bit, but I can' mow my lawn, it keeps stalling. It just got over hauled to my John Deere. It works fine when the engine is cool.
Help!!! Grass is getting tall
