AC D17 series IV

Bought the tractor from the original owner, has 1600 original hrs. I would like to know the horsepower rating? It also has the snap coupling rear, there is a rod that goes across the back conecting both snap coupler arms together, I was wondering about taking the rod out, if I don't, I will probably bend my 3 pt rod that comes off the tractor, right behind the seat. But wanting some one else with experence to give me ideas before I remove. Thanks Roger
