I would take some broken glass from a side glass of a car or truck.Put the pieces in the tank and if you have some way to rotate it constantly for lets say 36hrs.You will find out this way works really well.Also i would use "kreem"fuel tank sealant to line the tank to prevent any further rusting.E-mail me if you have any questions.
