The 2500 series wae made as the A and B series and were the industrial version of the 574 and 584 farm tractors, motor power train, frame, ect will be interchangable with parts available through your local Case/IH dealer. The 2500 offered a fixed front and/or solid cast iron front axle for industrial loader operations and also had some limited reart tire and rim options. The brakes are inboard hydraulic actuated and were reliable in most operations. From your comments, I am not sure if you are having brake wear problems, or trouble with the hydraulic actuating system. Again they have been very reliable in most operations. I believe the approximate power rating is 52 flywheel hp, that an industrial rating and would be approximatly 46 at the pto. Hope this helps. George
