Can't give you the distance between the deck and the blades, it's sitting in Indiana, I'm sitting in Illinois until tomorrow night. My L59 is rear discharge, are no circle baffles around the blades. My neighbor's got some sort of 5 footish Deere 3 point mount finish mower that's very similar to the belly mounts under their compacts, on the back of his Jubilee. It does excellent too. I figure it went for about $2K because is green, but he picked it up for $85 (nothing) somehow.
