Best bet is goat milk, cow's milk will be taken enthusiastically by the fawn, but will cause sickness after a few days. After a couple of weeks, try some cabbage. I raised a fawn to three months and then turned him over to wildlife rehab. His doe had been hit by a car and the fawn brought to me as a wildlife biologist. If I had acerage, I would have tried to keep it as they are fascinating to watch (not penned..., they need to be free). In the several weeks I had this one, I gave a lot of presentations to neighborhood families about deer life. He and the hound dog became good playmates for a while.
