@ $400 to do an acre and a half that sounds a litte spendy to me. I built a set of trip dump tines for clearing farm fields that fits on the front of my fourwheeler. Fist sized or smaller I don't worry about, the ones I or it can't lift get dragged off with a chain.
I've read here that an old set of tire chains makes a good sling for rock dragging. Good Luck, DK
