If by "auto shops" you mean parts stores (AutoZone, Advanced, etc.. ) I wouldn't. The engines, they have re-man'd for them (just store fronts), are just built to passenger car/truck spec's. They may have a three year warrenty but they sure as h#ll do not warrenty the labor you pull it back out and put it back in. Plus in most cases if you let them know that you will be using it for commerical or heavy hualing the may cut that warrenty down to as little as 6 months.

Now if you mean Jasper or someone who BUILDs engines, & garrenties them for 3 years, yep, That's what I do........
