yes to the controller. I'll have to get one. Second went nuts trying to figure out why the tail and marker would light fine with a battery charger power supply, but only markers would come on when hooked to the truck. Pos ground truck and LED taillights. That drove us nuts! Trailer lights are pretty common packaging and we just happened to have another trailer with same light package but bulbs. Took about 5 min to swap.

Now , can I reverse the polarity on the emergency brake. For now I just disconnected the battery on the trailer.
