We had aJD 15 foot bat wing an used a case 1070 with dual pto. Had 1000 pto on mower an was trouble free till put 2390 on 160hp an broke main gear box . Recomend mower with 1000pto . iooopto isa much smoother reliable way to go on mower. As for throttleing back dont even try it. look wor tractor with dual speed pto around 100 hp
