You can't run a tractor with a 1000 rpm PTO at a low enough rpm to use most of the older equipment. A baler for sure is a NO NO. When the govenor on the tractor kicks in, the baler is going to fly in several directions. Oh it may not happen the first few times, but it will happen. I get equipment all the time that has been torn up in just such a way. On second thought go right ahead, stupid tricks like that keep me in business.
