Concur with the others about mounting plate and crankshaft lenth and diameter. I write to add that there are at least four ways the charging system can be wired. On a Briggs of this horsepower I guess it will be electric start and you don't want to go recoil.

There are straight AC/ Straight DC/ and some dual systems. Depends on the specs of the equipment manufacturer.

IF your tractor harness matches the engine plug you probably lucked out but if it has more or fewer wires post again and someone will try to help. I have a site for an eighteen page explanation on the other computer if it turns out you need it.
