Thanks for your reply John M I checked float for wear on pivot attachment and cleaned and replaced
needle valve. I am going to recheck filter screen on fuel inlet. My tractor sat most of last year because of mechanical problems with a stuck intake valve and leaking radiator, and I had a lot of health problems. I pulled the cylinder head, freed the valve and replaced the radiator.
