Smoke does hang in there.... I quit 3 months ago, & although I never did smoke in my new one (2001), It has a smoke smell, I guess from my clothes... the old 92 one still has a strong smell, but it is getting better, I leave windows cranked down when I can..... A product called Odo-Ban from Sam's does seem to help.....
