I was a at an auction years ago, I had bought several items. The auctioneer was so bid happy, that I would turn my back to him when I dropped out of bidding. One one item, I dropped out early, turned my back, he still had me as the high bidder.. The whole crowd told him he was wrong. It was not a bad price on the item, so I told him if he was that desperate for bids, I would take it.... the crowd laughed then..... I guess he was the worst auctioneer I ever saw. Now he is head of the County Council......
