Yep, that's the same guy that's at every auction I've ever been to. How he knows to quit JUST before I'm done bidding I don't know. Got caught last fall though. They ran a beat up Farmall H up to about $600.00 and everybody bailed. After the auction, the auctioneer walked around asking folks if they would like to buy the H from him, and he finally took $410.00 for it. Dirty dog was running it up and pulling bids out of the air. We really chuckled right in front of him when he took it in the shorts for a couple of hundred. Later, Harley

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
