Standard problem. Fuel flow restriction, probably from an accumulation of varnish and dirt, can be any where in the fuel supply lines from the screen in the gas tank, the sediment bowl, the lines, the carburetor inlet screen (I've seen that plugged so tight I couldn't detect it passing 60 psi air), gas tank cap (though that one is usually delayed), or float needle and seat. Can also be power passages in the carburetor body plugged with the same stuff. The first check is to pull the drain plug from the float bowl. You should get a splash, then a continuous flow nearly as fat as a pencil. Your symptoms are that you will get a fast drip, not a stream. Take the lines apart until you find the restriction and there can be several. Gerald J.
