you do not need any #'s as long as you haul your own stuff on your own truck and trailer and do not make any profit off of it. (a ribbon won at a tractor show is profit)
you need a dot # if you haul your own stuff for profit. such as hauling your tractor to a site and charging to bushhog some grass.
You need a ICC MC# if you haul other peoples stuff.
