Forgot to mention we had a 7.4 before this one, there is no comparison in power and the 7.4 used as much fuel pulling a big load. The Allison tranny is excellent, never heats up like the previous one when pulling hard. You will find your rear tires wear out quite fast if you have a heavy foot... but it's fun once in awhile!!
