nobody has small dogs and the farm cats are pretty smart, i have only lost three over the last couple of years. people don't live real close out here, in my particular area the farms are less than one per square mile. i'm the only one on my section and same goes for the neighbors with alot of empty sections in between. coyotes are as common as cows out here. i love spring time though because all the counties and ranchers pay a nice bounty.
