My brother has never had a problen with coyotes when raising his cattle. His problem was with with dogs which run in packs and chased the cows until they got so stressed they would sometimes die. Also the two legged coyotes who would somehow catch a small calf and take it. He was able to handle the dog problem, but not the two legged problem. Stan in calif.
