Farmall M

I"m a new comer to tractor repair and could use some advice figuring out why I can not get the Farmall M started and what to check out or replace. Used Sat for 8-10 hrs and Sun for 4 hrs. Started up after taking a lunch break and then just quit running and it will not start. Cleaned fuel strainer, drained gas from carbureator and reconnected everything. Turns over but won"t fire up. Any suggestions?
