Davis, Unless you've looked at the generic parts cross reference at a Deere dealer or on the web site, you can't even imagine how many parts they have cataloged by type and description. It only takes a couple of minutes to find a listing by size or description of all kinds of parts. Whether it was an item the dealer stocked or not, finding it is no problem, and delivery by the next day was almost certainly possible. Deere has all kinds of competing manufacturers' part number cross-referenced in their system, too, but you either gotta go on-line and look it up yourself, or find a partsman worth his salt!
