Dads long gone but my brother and I both still hear real good.I just recently passed my plants hearing test with flying colors.I currently have a 1967 Oliver 1950 and drill wheat with it every fall and yes it has a straight pipe.I do wear hearing protection now.

By the way a couple of more sweet sounding tractors are the Cockshutt 40 and 50 with those smooth running 6 cyl Buda engines.
