Our past Border Collie was keen to ride as well. She would run from the buildings a mile to the back of the farm. Just for a return ride. She would hop up on her own onto the platform of any of the Waterloo two Cylinders. She also rode beside the differential lock lever on the 1840 and the 2355. Miss that dog too. He will sit for hours in the back of the truck if the tailgate is down and the cap door up. Just so he won't miss a ride. The *(&%&*(^( scratched the tailgate paint one day hopping in before the tailgate was lowered. If in the van he will sit up on his hind legs just see out the windshield. He's not allowed on the seats. One night I couldn't figure out what the smell was for most of the trip. The dog was standing behind the drivers seat with his nose almost in my left ear.It was the cold wet nose during a sudden turn that gave his position away.
