I guess I have to admit I just can't follow your response to my post. You have a slight tendency to jump around a bit, I guess that's what happens when a guy thinks "outside" the box (one of today's trendy watercooler expressions). My point was (and still is) that vehicle restorations (and I mean a real restoration, not just polishing up an old car) are a losing proposition financially. If you or the other fellow have a ton of money and that doesn't mean anything, that's great. I've seen a lot of guys get into that old car restoration stuff and everything else (including family needs) get shortchanged. Not much sense in arguing here about something that is just plain fact but I thought I'd pass my comments on, the fellow involved can do as he wishes. Meanwhile, I haven't seen too many tractor restorations get into the car-resto price range.
