To Bob on 4020 clutch life. If you take away the surface of the flywheel the clutch and pressure plate are that much farther away from throwout! If you do not like my theory I suggest you talk to Spicer or Eaton as I have attended seminars on this topic many times. As I was also informed you want to install a new clutch verses a rebuilt because new is new and rebuilt is just inspected for bad parts and put back together with what it needs.I have installed many rebuilts but found better life with new, and not cutting flwwheel.Just what I have learned from many years of trial & error and a little listening from peers.
