I had a 1973 Mustang Mach I. Parts are available for every other Mustang but the 71, 72, and 73. For these years good quality parts are hard to find, especially body parts I searched for ever to find inner fender wells, and never did find any. There will be lots of hidden rust once you tear into it also. The car you are describing sounds like it is in pretty tough shape. You may be money ahead to spen more for one in better shape. On the other hand once done, it would be a heck of a car.
