I can't remember seeing a 240 with power steering, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done.

My thought is that a 240 is a fairly light tractor, and should be an easy one to steer even without power steering. I'd suggest that you take it for a spin, you might find it's easier to steer than you expect.
