Rich: You got a toss up, I have operated both these tractors. Looked very hard at both back when they were new. I chose the 656 because of dealer support and parts availability. That may be quite different in Iowa than where I lived. It also may be quite different today than almost 40 years ago. That is the one I'd be checking out.
