You ain't gonna get it short with a batwing...the most economical would be a finishing mower for cutting it close and are available up to 6'...but it also depends on the type of grass you will be mowing. Massey made a Model 240 diesel with 40 hp and very versitle with all type of equipment... you and should be able to find a good used one...I don't think the 240 is still available new but whatever took its place would be sufficiant
