Something like that happened to me. Went to buy a new pickup and had my work cloths on and came with an old car. Wanted to test drive one of their new trucks but was told NO because that would "put a few miles on it". Bought a new truck at another dealer and was going to pick it up ( car warming up) when the first salesman called and wanted to know if I was still interested in buying the truck he wouldn't let me test drive. Told him I didn't need it anymore because I just bought a new truck.
