Trying to decide between a JD 4120 HST and a Case IH DX 40 HST (same as NH TC40 I think). The 4120 has 3 more hp, but similarly equipped is about $3k more than the DX40. Both are good dealers - the case dealer is about 10 miles from my house, the JD dealer about 35 miles. Advantages that I see in the JD (please comment on these): 1. Load Match - is this a big deal? 2. Slightly higher hydraulic output (17 gpm vs 14) 3. Slightly larger loader capacity 4. Better reputation? 5. More likely to have parts available longer 6. Speed match Advantages to the Case DX40: 1. Swivel seat 2. Price 3. Better loader joystick 4. High/low HST button right on joystick Thoughts? This machine will be used for loader work, box blade for long driveway and with 6' bushog for mowing about 15 acres.
