That is the engine model(ixb3)and that slightly larger engine was not put in the 4 wheelers until late 38 or early 39.The evan larger contintal engines came out in 1940 so yours is between those dates.There should be a casting date near the oil pan on the right side of the block.If thats where you got 1/21/39 your block was cast in january 21 in 1939.
