I used to be a crew chief / flight mechanic on a USAF HH-1H Huey Helicopter. We usually used JP4 fuel, but would routinely interchange JP5 & Jet A. We never had the occasion to try it, but according to the helicopter tech data we could also burn Kerosene or Diesel fuel. Based on that I would think if diesel is good enough for a helicopter, I would think Jet A is good enough for anything designed to run on deisel. Of course a little bit of added lube for the injectors would be a good idea.
