This is kind of late, but my dad told me the same thing - don't be afraid of the high school quaterback type, look out for the old hillbilly with missing teeth, cigs rolled in his t shirt sleeve. THAT guy ain't afraid to get hurt! And has nothing ( or just fewer teeth ) to lose. I agree, there is a culture of jealousy in our country. Easy.
