The new engines don't require a 3000 oil change anymore,there a lot cleaner burning than the old engines.The new V-8 engines run on 4 cylinders when at idle,have no engine mounted fan,just electric on the radiator,have aluminum heads and are better at fuel milage.The oil sensing system tells you when to change oil,the book says once a year or 7500 miles according to the sensor.
