Can tell you one thing from personal experience. Two years ago we got DOT numbers, IFTA stickers, cargo insurance, liability insurance, bigger semi-tractor, longer flatbed trailer, winch I mounted on the tractor and hard-wired into the electrical system, and as of now, we have just quit hauling anything unless it is VERY close and I can use it here on the farm. Can"t justify charging a fella $2.00 a loaded mile for hauling his tractor, but can"t justify even starting our truck to go out and live on the road and pay today"s diesel prices just for the experience. Been there done that, don"t need any more. It has definately impacted our operation. Too bad too, cause we really liked the traveling. Oh well, this too shall pass. Later, Harley
