I never liked to keep pressure on hydraulics with the pump off (of any kind) so before turning off my equipment I lower things to the ground anyway.

My MF35 does as yours, with my 5' mower attached, but I'm not going to tear into it for that. Now if it wouldn't lift, or searched, or hiccuped, or stayed up, or something like that, then I'd tear into it. But it works fine otherwise.

Now you have 2 different opinions. Choice is yours.
