I'm a hyd dummy, but an open center pump should not, of course, ever shut off. It constantly cycle oil. What must be happening is that the oil is going through your bypass, creating pressure? And heat, etc. So, why? Something got plugged, or you have something hooked up wrong. Did you make any changes to the plumbing? Stick in a closed-center valve? Otherwise, something in a power beyond port or the low-pressure return to sump must be plugged. --->Paul
