Ford Front end loader

I am looking at two FEL's that fit a Ford 8n. I am going to modify the front bracket to fit my Ford 850. They both apear to be in good shape. They both have an internal pump.

I don't know much about operating with these loaders. I currently use my tractor to work 8 acres of ground. I use an 8 foot disc, 8 foot cultivator and a 5 foot brush hog. I plan on leaving the loader on all the time. Is there anything I should be aware of? I have heard stories of front ends being too heavy, loss of traction?

What do you guys think?
