i am not at all saying this in a mean condesending way at all but if your time is worth anything you planting field corn in your garden is a waste of time. not saying that to offend you or cut you down dont take it htat way that is not what i mean. i dont know your situation you say to feed does that mean squirls chickens cattle horses? i dont know how much you need or waht but literally isnt worth the time to hand plant the effort cost to water it the fertilizer it isnt. i have a couple of local familys who want a tad for chickens and a tad for horses etc and bagged cracked corn at the local feed was 6 bucks a 50lb bag. i recommended them just buy a few garbage bins bring them over and i would fill them. with corn prices 3 bucks or so a bushel buy some garbage barrels plastic shouldnt condensate as much and go to your grainery local farmer and have him fill it up jsut make sure it is dry.
