Is yours like the one in the picture? I think the last year they made those was in 1973. If it has a single speed it is probably earlier than 1970. Eric, I unlocked my email. I can answer any questions you have on this mower. The serial number is on the left side (as you are sitting on it) on the vertical surface that is directly under the belt covers. Also, there is a number (or letter) on the flat part (not the side brackets) of the gearbox that will indicate year **IF** the gearbox has not been replaced. I may also have the decals you need, depending on which specific mower you have and also ANY parts you would need. If we can narrow down the year of your mower, I can also send you a manual (for the engine as well should you need one). Jay
