Never had a tractor with a V8 but have heard horror stories,mostly from '86 series IH owners as well as same circa White 4wd. General opinion is to stay away and go to a large six to begin with. I don't seed enough to justify something better so I'm drawn by the price to these older straight draft tractors,no air seeders or no till in the future. Thanks for your info,greatly appreciated.
